Apple’s latest iPhone Pro lineup is finally here, and if you’re wondering whether it looks different or packs enough punch to justify an upgrade, we’ve broken it down into plain English.

Processor & Hardware: Powered by the Apple A20 Pro chip, built on TSMC’s 2nm process node, which delivers up to 18% faster performance and 30% better power efficiency compared to previous generations. It features 12GB of RAM using Wafer-Level Multi-Chip Module (WMCM) packaging to integrate memory closer to the processor. It also incorporates Apple’s in-house C2 modem for enhanced cellular and 5G satellite connectivity, alongside a new internal vapor chamber cooling system.

Camera: Equipped with a triple 48MP rear camera system (Main, Ultra-Wide, and Telephoto) and a 48MP front camera. The main 48MP sensor introduces a mechanical variable aperture, allowing physical control over light intake and depth of field. The telephoto system features a wider aperture for improved low-light zoom performance, alongside a pressure-sensitive Camera Control button.

Display: Features a 6.3-inch OLED display with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, power-efficient LTPO+ technology, and a peak outdoor brightness of up to 3,000 nits. It includes a narrower, reduced-size Dynamic Island due to layout changes in the Face ID sensor components.

Battery: Houses a 4,288mAh battery (variant dependent on region), benefiting from the energy-efficiency gains of the 2nm A20 Pro chip to extend overall daily usage time. It supports fast charging, wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging
